St George’s, Headstone, Harrow is an Anglican parish church in the Diocese of London.
St George’s celebrates and shares the Christian faith within the rich liturgical tradition of the Book of Common Prayer, King James Bible, and pipe organ-accompanied hymn singing and choral music. A church with a ‘beauty of holiness’ ethos, we value sacred space, art and music as important aids to worship and spiritual focus.
The parish, part of suburban ‘Metro-land’ since the early twentieth century, covers most of the medieval estate of Headstone, which belonged to the Archbishops of Canterbury. Headstone Manor, a few minutes’ walk from the church, is Grade I listed and a scheduled monument.
St George’s is a member of Churches Together in North Harrow and a corporate member of the Prayer Book Society and Forward in Faith.
Visitors and newcomers are most welcome.
